Our engines are most commonly built to one of two criteria.

Our basic engine packages give options similar to those presented by our upgrade kits but with the added benefit of being professionally built here in our workshops. As well as the posibility to add individual variations, e.g adding a dry sump system or lightweight flywheel.

Alternatively we can build engines to suit a particular discipline. Typically this might mean engines for oval racing or hillclimbing but we are happy to build an engine to suit any regulations.

QED FAST ROAD ENGINE (Carburrated)
As the name suggests this engine package has been put together as an affordable fast road engine. The basis of these units is a second hand base engine, stripped, inspected and then carefully rebuilt to include our Q42Hc kit.<More Details>

QED FAST ROAD SPECIAL (Full engine management)
This is our basic multi-function engine. Although useable for fast road applications this engine has extra potential for track and entry level competition use. These units are based on an engine rebuilt to include our Q42Hi kit.<More Details>

QED 235 BHP COMPETITION SPECIAL
Our general purpose club motorsport power units are based around our Q420i kit. This is a versatile engine template and several variations exist designed to conform to specific racing regulations.<More Details>

QED NHRPA CHAMPIONSHIP ENGINE
This is probably the most commonly requested variation of the QED 235bhp competition special, in this case built within the requirements for a legal NHRPA spec engine. <More Details>

QED 250+ BHP RACE UNIT

These are our ultimate race engines with steel internals and our most aggressive cam profiles. Again this is a template which has numerous variations, for example it forms the basis of our methanol burning hillclimb engines.<More Details>
