NHRPA

This is probably the most commonly requested variation of the QED 235bhp competition special, in this case built to the regulations for a legal NHRPA engine.
A base unit is stripped, cleaned, inspected and rebuilt. In the process engine internals are refreshed or replaced as necessary and gaskets, seals, etc are all replaced.
Distributorless ignition is managed by the regulation MBE ECU and since fuel injection is not permitted the engines are fitted with appropriately jetted 45mm Dellorto DHLA carbs.
A choice of cam profiles is fitted although further head work is heavily restricted to remain NHRPA legal.
After assembly the engine is run in on our dyno and checked over. The ignition management system is sealed and cannot be mapped but carb settings are verified and the engine is power tested.
