Distributorless Ignition Kit
This kit upgrades the ignition system with a distributorless wasted
spark ignition coil, improving spark energy, reliability and cold starting,
as well as removing the awkward 'distributor' mounted on the rear of
the exhaust cam.
Throttle Body Kit
Our throttle body kit improves both ignition and fuelling as a single
package and is a solid foundation for any future upgrades. A distributorless
ignition package is controlled by a DTAfast ECU which also controls
the fuelling, through our direct to head throttle bodies.
Cam Kits
Our range of upgrade kits have been created by adding proven supporting
components to each of our cam profiles.
Each kit also includes either a set of Weber 45 DCOE
carbs or a set of our direct to head
throttle bodies along with a distributorless ignition system.
Q42H – 190 to 205BHP
This is a basic upgrade kit that involves changing the
engine management and induction, as mentioned above, and fitting our
Q42H cams. An engine fitted with one of these kits is still suitable
for road use.
Q38H – 200 to 210BHP
Although it is possible to fit the Q38H cams without
other engine modifications this kit includes everything to do the job
thoroughly. An engine fitted with this kit is still road driveable but
the emphasis of the kit is for track use.
Q420 – 215 to 220BHP
This is our first stage motorsport kit and because it
delivers good mid range torque as well as good peak power figures it
makes for a very versatile engine.
Q450 – 225 to 245BHP
This kit is for a dedicated race engine and variations
of this kit have been used to build championship winning engines across
several areas of motorsport. Although available with carbs it is higly
recommended that this kit should be used in it's fuel injected form
(where regulations allow).
