QED FAST ROAD ENGINE (Carburrated)

As the name suggests this engine package has been put together as an affordable fast road engine.
A base unit is stripped, cleaned, inspected and rebuilt. In the process engine internals are refreshed or replaced as necessary and gaskets, seals, etc are all replaced.
A DTA engine management system is fitted to control a twin coil for wasted spark, distributorless ignition. Fuelling is through Weber 45mm DCOE carbs as a replacement for the standard system. The original cams are replaced with our Q42H fast road profile.
After assembly the engine is run in on our dyno and checked over. The ignition management system is then mapped, carb settings are verified and the engine is power tested.
Peak power is usually 195bhp or more a little past 7000rpm with peak torque of approximately 160ftlb between 5500 and 6000 rpm.
