This kit is for a dedicated race engine and variations of this kit have been used to build championship winning engnes across several areas of motorsport.

Q450 – 225 to 245BHP
A pair of new, Q450 profile camshafts
A set of solid cam follower inserts and shims
A pair of vernier cam pulleys
(for more accurate cam timing)
A set of race quality valve springs
(to cope with the higher lift & valve acceleration of the cams)
A set of forged pistons
(with deeper valve pockets & higher CR required for Q450 cams)
A set of race quality rod bolts
(for a higher rev limit)

Each kit comes with an engine management package from DTAfast including a distributorless ignition system. Although this kit is available with a set of Weber 45 DCOE carbs it is higly recommended that it should be used with our direct to head throttle bodies (where regulations allow).
