The 23D distributor is the original ignition system for the Lotus Twincam.

A 23D distributor can be identified by looking at the distributor cap. In a 23D distributor cap the HT leads fit inside the terminals of the cap and are secured by screws accessed from inside the cap.

Obviously this means that for a 23D distributor the cap and leads are available as a single assembly. For the best performance we recommend using Magnecor leads which are available as 7mm or 8.5mm
