Exhaust Systems
One of the first things our dyno tests revealed is that the 1.8L K series is very sensitive to changes in the exhaust system. For a lightly modified engine the standard exhaust system is quite adequate. However if an engine has been modified for motorsport purposes, and so will be using higher rpm and producing more power, then the limitations of the standard exhaust system soon become apparent.

For fast road or light motorsport use, where low rpm torque is as important as peak power, our stainless steel, sports system offers unrestricted peak power without sacrificing the mid range torque. This system gives a considerable advantage up to about 200 bhp.

For the committed race engine we also offer our Race system. Designed with the ultimate specification of competition engine in mind, our race system is specifically for high performance engines producing over 200 bhp. Sand bent, this system incorporates seamless steel tubing and comes with a repackable silencer.
