TB195 Engine

A base unit from our stock is stripped and rebuilt to include modifications that make is suitable for many club level motorsport applications.

The block is stripped and rebuilt, including balancing. Strengthened con rod bolts are also fitted to allow safe use of higher revs. For Sevens, or similar applications, a shallow fabricated sump can also be fitted. As an additional option, for race applications, a lightweight steel flywheel can also be fitted to make the engine more free revving.

The cylinder head is also stripped and rebuilt. Our Q405H cams are fitted, which reuse the standard valve train, and our direct to head throttle bodies give improved air flow into the head.

Ignition and fuelling is controlled by a DTAfast ECU which is supplied with a dedicated engine bay wiring loom and all of the relevant sensors.

The complete engine is then run in, mapped and power tested on our dyno. Typically these engines give 155/160 ftlb of torque at about 6000 rpm with peak power of 195+bhp at 7000 rpm.
