Our system consists of a Schenk Eddy Current engine dynamometer with
data logging facility and a discrete system for engine mapping.
The Eddy Current dyno allows us a higher degree of control than the
traditional 'water brake' style dyno, which of course makes engine mapping
both quicker and more accurate.
Our control system also incorporates considerable data logging and allows
us to monitor a range of engine variables including engine speed and
load, oil temperature and pressure, coolant and air temperature, exhaust
gas oxygen, fuel pressure, and even barometric pressure in the test
cell.
Every engine we build is run in, mapped, and power tested on our dyno
but the facility is also available to customers who may wish to have
an engine verified and/or mapped that they have built themselves.
